I've called this blog my diet - no my diet for a reason.
I've struggled with my weight over the years and I've tried a number of low calorie diets. Calorie restriction has worked for me in losing weight but I've found it a difficult diet to stick to. The deprivation diet needs outrageous determination because its so hard to do.
I have friends that are on Weight Watchers, Slimming World, Vegan and Vegetarian.
Do all these diets have scientific basis? Is it a matter of getting the same result with them all, so just chose the one that suits you best?
How many diets have you tried? Which is the healthiest?
What I've learned though is that there is a difference in the diets.
The first place to start is that a calorie is not just a calorie.
Our body does not work in the over simplified calories in verses calories out manner in which you might think... and in my mind that eliminates a lot of today's diets. It leaves one clear dietary solution.
